Terms of service
These terms apply when a school, its staff or its parents use Yatri School, run by Yatri Cloud. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them.
Last updated 18 Oct 2026
01The service
Yatri School is online software for running a school's student records, attendance, exams, fees and parent communication. It works in a web browser. Nothing is installed and nothing physical is delivered.
02Accounts
- The person who sets up a school becomes its owner. The owner decides who else gets a login and what role they have.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your login.
- Tell the school owner, or write to us, straight away if you think someone else has used your login.
- Login links sent by the school are for one person only. Do not forward them.
03What the school agrees to
- Enter information that is correct, and only what the school needs.
- Get parents' consent to keep their children's details in the software, as Indian law requires.
- Remove access for staff who leave.
- Use the service only for running the school, and within the law.
04What is not allowed
- Trying to see another school's records, or another family's.
- Trying to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
- Copying or reselling the software.
- Using the service to send spam or unlawful content.
05The school's records
The records a school enters belong to the school. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. The school can download its fee, attendance and results reports at any time.
06Price and payment
Schools pay a yearly price per student, shown on the pricing page. The price agreed when you pay stays the same until the end of that paid year.
When parents pay school fees online, the payment is handled by Razorpay under Razorpay's own terms. Razorpay's charges for each payment are separate from our price. Cancellations and refunds are covered in our cancellation and refund policy.
07Keeping the service running
We work to keep Yatri School available and correct, and we fix faults as quickly as we can. Sometimes it may be slow or unavailable, for example during maintenance or when a provider we depend on has a problem. Keep your own printed receipts and downloaded reports for anything you must have on paper.
08Limits of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount the school paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
09Ending the service
A school can stop using Yatri School at any time by writing to us. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or is not paid, after telling the school owner by email. Before an account is closed, the school can download its reports.
10Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be heard by the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell school owners by email about important changes. Questions: info@yatricloud.com.
