Discounts, cancellations and reversals

Fix money entries without losing the history.

Who can do this: Accountant for discounts; owner or admin for reversals and cancellations

Money entries are never edited or deleted. Every correction is a new entry with a reason, so your records always add up.

  • Discount or waiver: open the invoice and enter the amount and the reason, for example Sibling discount.
  • Reverse a payment: open the receipt and reverse it with a reason. The invoice becomes pending again.
  • Cancel an invoice: possible only when nothing has been paid against it. Reverse the payments first.
NoteReversing an online payment in Yatri School does not refund the parent. Refund it from your Razorpay dashboard as well.
