Updates and WhatsApp messages
What parents and students are told on their own, and how WhatsApp sending works.

Without anyone pressing a button, parents and students get an update in their app (and a free phone alert, if they turned alerts on) when:
- a notice is posted for them,
- exam results are published (the update says the report card is ready, without marks),
- a fee payment is recorded (receipt number only, no amount),
- their child is marked absent today.
In Settings > Messages the school can also send each update to parents on WhatsApp. It goes only to parents who agreed to WhatsApp updates. The list on that page shows every message with its status: Waiting, Sent, Delivered, Read or Not sent, with the reason.
